In our increasingly divided world, issues of war and violence continue to plague societies, causing immense suffering and disruption. Recognizing the need for a comprehensive Christian response to these challenges, the International Conference on the Christian Response to War and Violence emerges as an invaluable platform. This conference will serve as a catalyst for fostering peace, and in guiding communities towards a more compassionate and non-violent future.
This Online Conference is organized by Reconciliation Trainers Africa (RETA), in partnership with Christian University for Leadership Education and Development (CULED) and College of Peace and Reconciliation Studies (CPRS). The conference is scheduled to hold from March 1-2, 2024 via zoom (8.00pm-10.00pm each day). The International Conference on the Christian Response to War and Violence plays a vital role in addressing the multifaceted challenges related to war and violence by promoting peace, encouraging dialogue, and offering ethical guidance rooted in Christian teachings.
Purpose of Conference
Ø To help Participants understand how to respond to Conflict through Christian thought and principles;
Ø To strengthen and add value to participants personal security management strategies;
Ø To help Participants appreciate the value and importance of Christian Scripture and its application on severe security challenges and how to overcome it.
