GUIDELINESS FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
The 2nd International Conference on Church and Society aims to bring together scholars, religious leaders, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world to engage in thoughtful discussions on the intersection of church teachings and societal issues. This conference provides a platform for exploring how the church can play a positive role in addressing contemporary challenges and promoting social justice.
The primary objectives of the 2nd International Conference on Church and Society are:

To Explore the Role of the Church: Analyze contemporary roles and responsibilities of the Church in addressing societal issues such as social justice, environmental stewardship, mental health, and community development.

To Promote Interfaith Dialogue: Foster a spirit of cooperation and understanding among different faith traditions and secular organizations in tackling common societal challenges.

To Equip Leaders: Provide church leaders and community organizers with tools, resources, and best practices to engage effectively with their communities.

To Empower Local Communities: Share successful case studies and models of grassroots initiatives led by churches that have made a significant impact on society.

To Develop Action Plans: Collaboratively create actionable strategies and commitments from participants to implement in their local contexts post-conference.
1. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Abstracts should be written in English and not exceed 300 words.
- Clearly state the paper's objective, methodology, key findings, and relevance to the conference themes.
- Include a brief biography of the author(s) (maximum 100 words per author).
- Abstracts must be submitted in electronic format (Microsoft Word or PDF) to this email address: support@culed.org
- The subject line of the email should read: "Abstract Submission - Author’s Last Name"
- The deadline for abstract submissions is August 15, 2025

3. EVALUATION AND SELECTION:
All submitted abstracts will undergo a blind peer-review process by the conference's abstract evaluation committee. Abstracts will be evaluated based on their relevance to the conference themes, clarity, originality, and potential contribution to knowledge and practice. Selected authors will be notified of acceptance by September 20, 2025 and provided with further instructions for full paper submission.
4. PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
- Accepted presenters will be required to submit full papers by September 30, 2025
- Presentations should be in English and should not exceed 15 minutes, followed by a Q&A session.
- PowerPoint or PDF slides are recommended for visual aids during presentations.
- Presenters and participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation expenses.
5. PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES:
Selected papers presented at the conference will have the opportunity to be published in reputable journals or conference proceedings, subject to the journals' review process and guidelines.
